the first (only) Tucker I've seen at a car show

A very unique interior, and this is the first time I've been able to take photos with good light

with such a small dashboard, the radio was installed on the side of it. That shifter us normally seen in Terraplanes and a couple French cars... but is a cool looking design and might have been why it was used to sell the cars for Preston. Small and efficient, unusual enough to be eye catching, and works well with the levers on the far side of the  instrument cluster

Behind this small rear quarter panel grill, is the fuel filler door. Good hiding spot.

6 exhaust pipes and big grill for a tail panel because it has a 6 cylinder air cooled helicopter engine if I remember correctly

One you've likely never heard of, a Brazilian VW SP2

Images from http://www.thepetrolstop.com/2010/02/volkswagen-sp2.html

In the 1970's Brazil wasn't allowing imported sports cars, and VW brazil had some autonomy from VW of Germany, and built these.

1966 Berlinetta Willys Interlagos, one of 4 in the USA according to the owner, out of only 822 made in Brazil

for more info http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z16174/Willys-Interlagos.aspx but in brief, Willys Overland of Brazil licensed the Renault Alpine 108, and built them from 1962-1966

This cars owner left a comment, and thanks! telling us that this one is one of maybe 4, 2 are intact, one is derelict, and the 4th is rumoured to be a cabriolet in Long Beach.

1956 Corvette SR2

designed for Bill Mitchell, and 3 were made. The first was test and eval, the 2nd was for Bill personally and to get some racing trophys, and he had Smokey Yunick prep and maintain it. So many parts were made from lighter weight stuff, that they shaved 700 pounds off the factory model

Rare aluminum Ford 9n tractor parts were made, due to tooling delays with the steel parts

Early in 1939, as Ford and Ferguson rolled out the first 9N tractors, a tooling delay prevented Ford from having several of the stamped-steel components available for the assembly line. As a result, the first production run of about 700 9N tractors featured aluminum hoods, timing covers, steering columns, grilles and several other parts, which were then painted gray like the rest of the tractor before being sold. As these tractors continued their working life on the farm, many of the aluminum components became dented or mangled and by then, replacements were available from Ford parts suppliers. Replacement parts in steel, that is.

Unusual option, a sleeper trunk.. I found a 68 Bonneville, and Dan at Hemmings came across a AMC Hornet

 above from a 2007 gallery I posted http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2007/07/68-ponitac-fastback-is-rare-one-with.html
and this Hornet is from Dan at Hemmings Blog, http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2012/07/26/from-the-hemmings-nation-flickr-pool-the-hornet-hutchback/comment-page-1/#comment-4936631 and it is showing a Group 15 option, the 1973 Hornet Hutch Mini Camper Kit
